🔌 How It Connects — M.2 Keying & Pins

An M.2 drive plugs into the slot by its gold contact edge. The notches (the “keys”) on that edge decide which slots the drive physically fits. This drive has two notches — a B+M key — and runs the SATA protocol, not PCIe/NVMe.

📍 Two Notches — B+M Key
On the 75-position M.2 edge, the B-key notch removes pins 12–19 and the M-key notch removes pins 59–66. Two gaps = B+M.
🔗 Fits B-key & M-key Slots
Because it carries both notches, a B+M card physically drops into both B-key (Socket 2) and M-key (Socket 3) M.2 slots — as long as the slot supports SATA M.2.
⚠️ Check Your Slot Supports SATA
Many newer boards/laptops have NVMe-only (PCIe) M.2 slots. A SATA drive can fit physically but won’t be detected there. Confirm your slot is SATA-capable before buying.

Quick check: look for an M.2 slot marked SATA or “SATA/PCIe”. Pure NVMe / PCIe-only slots will not run this drive. This is a 22×80mm (2280) card, so set the slot standoff to the 2280 position.

Return Policy

Thank you for shopping at computerg.shop. If you're not entirely happy with your order, we're here to help — here's how returns, exchanges and refunds work.

Two return tiers apply — based on whether the item is held in our local stock or sourced from our supplier for your order. Items marked Available to Order are clearly labelled on the product page and at checkout.

Part A — Standard Returns stocked items

Eligibility — initiate a return within 14 days of receiving your order. The item must be unused and in its original factory-sealed packaging (anti-tamper seals and shrink-wrap intact), with all accessories, manuals and promotional materials included.

Restocking fee — a 25% fee applies to eligible returns (inspection, testing and repackaging). It's waived when:

  • ✓The product arrived defective or damaged
  • ✓The product was shipped in error by us
  • ✓The return is due to a warranty issue

Part B — Items Available to Order not held in local stock

Items labelled Available to Order are sourced from our supplier specifically for your order, after payment clears. Because they're ordered on your behalf, return terms differ:

  • ›Returns are limited to defective-on-arrival (DOA) cases — once shipped, "changed my mind" or compatibility miscalculations aren't accepted.
  • ›Defects or transit damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, with photo evidence.
  • ›Other hardware faults within the warranty period — see the Warranty Policy tab.
  • ›At checkout you confirm you've read and accepted these terms before ordering.

Part C — Common Terms

Initiating a return — contact support with your order number and item details. We'll send instructions and a return authorisation number. Please don't ship anything back before receiving authorisation.

Return shipping — you're responsible for the cost of returning the item. Use a trackable method; shipping costs are non-refundable.

Inspection & approval — once received, our team inspects the item against our eligibility criteria. If approved, we proceed with the refund.

Refunds — issued to your original payment method; allow up to 5 business days. Shipping is non-refundable; if your order had free shipping, the original shipping cost is deducted from the refund (a new receipt is issued for the deduction).

Exchanges — Standard Returns items may be exchanged for a different model or specification, subject to availability. You cover any price difference and shipping. Not available for Items Available to Order.

Damaged or defective items — contact us within 48 hours with photos and a description. We'll provide return instructions and cover return shipping, then send a replacement or full refund after inspection.

Non-returnable items — personalised goods, products with broken anti-tamper seals, used products, and Items Available to Order (except as noted in Part B).
